Welcome to the Horticulture Competition, where the beauty of nature takes centre stage at the Rocky Show! This event showcases the incredible talents of local gardeners and horticulturists, celebrating everything from stunning floral displays to impressive vegetable and fruit exhibits. It’s a true reflection of our community’s passion for gardening and sustainable practices.

What will spectators see?

Spectators can expect a stunning array of entries, featuring eye-catching flowers, lush plants, and fresh produce. Take the time to explore the Horticulture Pavilion exhibits and engage with the Committee, who are excited to share their gardening insights and experiences. You can also buy plants and raffle tickets! 

How is Horticulture judged?

Entries are judged based on several important criteria, including overall presentation, colour, and freshness. The judges also consider the use of techniques and care taken in growing each entry.

Nominations Close: Monday 9 June 2025

Exhibit Delivery: Please deliver to the Horticultural Pavilion 9am - 5pm on Tuesday 10 June 2025.

Judging: Wednesday 11 June 2025

Exhibit Collection: Please collect from the Horticultural Pavilion 9am - 12pm on Saturday 14 June 2025.

Who organises the Horticulture Competition?
