event road closure and FIREWORKS 2025

The Rockhampton Agricultural Show takes place from Thursday 12 June to Friday 13 June 2024. During this time there will be traffic and parking congestion around the immediate area.

Road Closures:

Rockhampton Regional Council wishes to advise that there will be a road closure in place for the Rockhampton Agricultural Show on Exhibition Road and Graeme Acton Way. The road closure will take place from 6:00AM Monday 9 June to 6:00AM Monday 16 June.

Fireworks:

A fireworks display has been planned for Thursday 12 June, and Friday 13 June.

*Times to be advised

• Ensure your pets are wearing ID tags and their microchip details are up to date.

• Ensure your pets are exercised and well fed before the fireworks start.

• Keep your animals indoors in a safe, secure and comfortable environment.

• Leave the TV or radio on to mask any sounds if you won't be home.

If your pet escapes during the fireworks report them missing at www.rrc.qld.gov.au/lostpets Council will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum and we thank you in advance for your understanding.
